Impressed with his professionalism does not do it justice! I was in trouble with my Audi A6 that would have cost me a dealership arm and a leg! He carried out a thorough check of the system and diagnosed a faulty pressure switch which I changed and then he re-gassed the system .. sorted !! perfect .. I cannot rate this guy high enough !! Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. After a local garage tried to re-gas my air con on two separate occasions and it still didnt work, I called Darren who did a thorough examination of the whole air con system and identified that the problem was actually a leak in the condenser. He explained that there was no obligation to use him for the actual repair and did not make us feel pressured into fixing it. He simply gave honest feedback on what our options were and left it with us to decide. Based on this, we did in fact ask him to come back and fix the condenser. On both occasions he was very knowledgeable, professional and meticulous in his work (and even came on a Sunday!). Would highly recommend!
Honest, straight to the point. Very quick fault diagnosis and subsequent cost effective advice. Mobile service very convenient. I would recommend this guy to anyone. Better equipment and service than any main dealer.
Along with other reviewers, I cannot rate this company highly enough. I had an issue with the aircon on my Rover, which Darren diagnosed correctly as a faulty compressor with a very small leak. This had been missed by two other garages previously who gave up and told me the system was beyond economic repair. I bought a replacement compressor, condenser, fan resistor and dryer and Darren returned to fit them. This turned out to be a mammoth job, involving removing most of the front of the car! The bumper, front impact beam, top cross-member, lights, fan and radiator all had to come out. Darren happily got stuck in, carefully removing parts, taking pictures and keeping everything clean, with me as his assistant (and providing the coffee...) All O-rings were changed and the system was pressure and vacuum tested before being re-charged. The car was then reassembled. In total, it took about 6 hours from start to finish and, including buying the parts and the gas, the bill was still less than 450, of which less than half was Darren's time. There is no way a garage would have even attempted this fix for the price and I very much doubt they would have known what they were doing anyway! The car now runs quieter and, critically, the air con is ice-cold, just in time for summer. If you've put off getting your air-con fixed, call Darren and get it sorted. You won't be disappointed, or overcharged!
I can highly recommend using this company for getting your air conditioning in top form. Darren is a smashing fella who came out, worked late and sorted the air conditioning out on both my car, and my wife's car. He did an absolutely sterling job and was very reasonably priced too.
