Well worth a visit
Nestled in a lovely valley miles away from civilisation is this grand little church with a fascinating history. The architecture is fantastic and the interior features the original fittings and fixtures. The original armour and standards worn and used by the lord of the manor adorn the walls and you genuinely feel like you have stepped back in time. And then you look up. The ceiling is magnificent. It is not as detailed as some but it is still captivating when you look at it. Highly recommend a visit!
Great little church steeped in history! Really nice place to visit and very helpful member of staff on the day who provides plenty of interesting information. Only a short walk away from the beautiful reservoir and walks all around the area - great little place, recommend a visit if its your kind of thing.
Wow that painted woodern ceiling is amazing. Love the stained glass windows as well. Guides on hand who are very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. Very peaceful to just sit and soak up the atmosphere. Would recommend a visit
