Very clean,very busy,they have asort of semi waitress service whiich leads to longer queues.If you want to use this system then use extra staff, nt one person doing everything.Food was good as always.
It is increasingly difficult to describe a shop in original terms. This is a pleasant example of the genre; that it has an in-store cafe is a nice bonus. At the time of our visit, they also had a lot of post Christmas bargains on sale.
We ordered the food for our wedding catering from M&S online and nipped in to this, our local store, the day before to check with the staff about delivery times (for a Sunday morning). They were kind and professional and said they would personally be handling the deliveries- wedding day came and everything to plan! Incredible food at a good price (tried to no avail for discount on our 500 spend) which more than comfortably fed 40. In store; very surprised at the reasonable prices, not a huge floorspace for choice. Nice coffee shop and also sells fresh flowers.
Love this shop normally but OMG today was horrific, have shopped at many stores in the run up to Christmas but this felt uncomfortable. The shop is small, could not shop for queues in aisles. Was surprised they did not let people in when others left, must have been a health and safety risk with the volume of customers. Car park horrendous people getting uptight about lack of spaces. Not many looked happy with this experience. Think the store needs to have a rethink for next year as we love shopping there normally.
I used the party food service, where you order on line and collect in store. Excellent and most convenient service. The sandwiches were superb. The staff were really polite and helpful. Stayed for a coffee in the cafe...will definitely use this service again
