Would definately recommend choosing here for a family break camping, kids had a great time plenty for them to do. Facilities were ample and able to get locally made produce from the farm shop great for the BBQ whilst there!! Owners are very friendly and helpful. Cant wait to go back with the family again.

Camping here is great so so much to do the kids loved it can't wait to visit again. Went to a birthday party here too such good value for money!! You wont be disappointed

Had a lovely stay in one of the log cabins. It was clean and was very well equipped (t.v's in bedroom and frontroom, cleaning equipment, plenty of glasses, plates, cups etc.) I read a lot of reviews mentioning a 'angry old farmer' well, the gentleman we met was polite, kind, helpful and very welcoming. When we first got there he did seem in a bit of a rush but that's completely understandable. I rang him in the morning to see if we could buy some eggs in the morning before we left and he told us to go to the house and ask for Janice and she would sort it. Never had to go to the house as left cleaner with keys but bumped into Janice outside the shop who was very smiley. Eggs were at the house so the farmer went to get them and when he returned, rather than taking our money and say goodbye we were asked if we wanted to see the horses (who were very friendly) he told us where to go, what their names were and to stay away from the electric fence. Seen pigs, cows, sheep and chicken on the way to the horses who were also roaming the field with 2 donkeys and 2 ponies. They all came over to say hello.Hot tub was lovely and warm, only downside was that the lights didn't work. It was so relaxing sitting in there and looking out onto the field of alpacas.Would definitely recommend. There's also a town centre 2 mins drive away with plenty of food places for something to eat and a few co op to stock up the fridge, freezer of cupboards in the cabin.Thank you Hill Farm (and my partner) for an amazing birthday!

We have just stayed the Friday just gone for one night! Janice is lovely and so friendly. The photos do not do it justice!! It's amazing and relaxing. So peaceful. We also looked around the farm and the animals aren't beautiful and very friendly. Can not wait to book again!!

Great weekend, made very welcome the whole time we was there. The owners were away but the man who was looking after it was very helpful. Showed us round to see all the animals for our little lad, gave us some eggs for free what the hens had just laid, even offered to go get us a takeaway after we had a lot of snow in the area. Log cabin was lovely, hot tub was nice and warm, beds and shower were great also. Everything you needed was in there, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer.The local town is a 5 minute drive, easy to find. We would definitely return again.
