Called in for a late lunch. Not very busy service was very slow. From getting menu and drinks to food , over an hour for two courses. Food was very nice. And will return again without hesitation.
Very nice looking pub. We came here while on a walk. Was a nice place for a rest. Looked really nice inside and out, good play area for kids. Can't comment on main food as we only order couple of snacks but they seemed pretty decent so I'd imagine main meals would be good too. Parking is a bit limited so would imagine it being a nightmare on busy periods. Better for locals who could walk there.
Excellent, restaurant quality food at relatively low prices! The staff are always welcoming, friendly and efficient. The pub is well kept with tasteful decor and, despite welcoming responsible dogs and their owners, a clean finish. A good selection of beer added to an excellent evening. I would highly recommend visiting here!
Enjoyed our time at The Ferrers. The staff were very thin on the ground. Lots phoned in 'sick' we were told.....and the two who served us did it with good service good humour and humility. Well done under a difficult and busy New Year's Day service. And the food was good too.
Sat in the dog friendly snug with our dog. Had pate to start very nice. Had fish and chips which lacked taste and wasn't cooked thru wouldn't recommend. Finished off with chocolate ice cream VERY nice.Lovely staff quick service.
