Don't bother, no wheelchair access from function room, food just ok nothing great. Save your money go Wetherspoons. Shame uses to be a great pub with excellent food, don't be fooled by staff who haven't a clue what they are on about.

The place is lovely inside. Fresh Carvery with a massive selection. Fair price. Lovely staff. Will definitely go again, possibly on a regular basis.
Nice place to go for a carvery, all on the level so easy access for mobility impaired. Lovely selection of food. Very reasonably priced too. Fixed meals menu too if you don't want the carvery. Plenty of seating, so no queuing. We went at 6:00pm on a Sunday and still never had to wait.
